Why 108?
There are three basic patterns for dog walks.
In order of complexity:
Walk your dog to a spot, turn around and retrace your steps.
A classic 'around the block' or 'park circuit', starting and ending at the same spot.
Cross over your path at least once to form a figure-of-8.
Join the Pack
Being a solo Doggo 108 player is fun. Once you have got the basic patterns mastered you can:
Link up with neighbouring dog owners to form a Doggo 108 League (or start your own). At the end of the season throw a party, celebrate the winners, and give the losers a treat too. We are all in this together!
Unite with dogs of the same breed from around the world. Compete against other single breed packs. Make new friends and share the fun.
Every walk you do adds points to your Pack. Remember, it's not a race. A Chihuahua can win as many points as a Greyhound. Success comes from being synchronised and getting the timing right.
Follow-the-Leader. Reproduce the walk taken by your team leader. The better you match their pattern the more points you score. When team members synchronise their walks across different time zones you score more points. Remember the more complex it is, the more points you win.
