Safari users — important
When the reset page opens, type a new password yourself rather than accepting Safari's autofill suggestion. Safari sometimes fills in the old (broken) password, which then gets saved as your "new" one and loops you back into not being able to log in.
If you're stuck in that loop, try the reset in a different browser (Chrome on iPhone, or your laptop). Sign in successfully there, and Safari will pick up the working password next time you use it.
